The original guide from 2019 relied on creating a Google+ Brand Page and moving the channel to a Brand Account — but Google+ has been shut down since 2019, and YouTube’s interface has completely changed. Today, **every YouTube channel (personal or Brand Account) supports channel permissions directly in YouTube Studio**. You no longer need to "enable" anything special or move to an old-style Brand Account to add managers, editors, or viewers.
You can now safely grant different levels of access to team members, agencies, or collaborators **without sharing your Google Account password**.

Note: Only the primary owner and Managers can see the full list of people with access.

1. Sign in to [YouTube Studio](https://studio.youtube.com) with the account that owns the channel.
2. In the left sidebar, click **Settings** (gear icon at the bottom).
3. In the pop-up window, select **Permissions** from the left menu.
4. You’ll see a list of everyone who currently has access.
5. To **add someone**:
- Click the **Invite** button (top right).
- Enter their **email address** (must be a Google account).
- Choose their role from the dropdown.
- Click **Invite**.
- They will receive an email and must accept the invitation.
6. To **change a role** or **remove someone**:
- Find the person in the list.
- Click the three-dot menu next to their name.
- Select **Change role** or **Remove access**.
- Confirm the change.

1. Open the official **YouTube Studio** app (iOS/Android).
2. Tap your profile picture → **Settings** → **Permissions**.
3. Tap the **+** (person) icon to invite.
4.The rest works the same as desktop.
- The invited person must accept the invite from their email (check spam folder).
- If your channel is very old and still uses the legacy "Brand Account managers" system, YouTube will prompt you to **migrate to channel permissions** (highly recommended for security).
- Revoke access immediately if someone leaves your team.
- You can add as many people as you need — no limits.
This method is the official, current way recommended by YouTube (source: YouTube Help – [Add or remove access with channel permissions](https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/9481328)).
